How Are Brazilian Hair Extensions Classified?

Since Brazilian hair extensions come in a range of colors, styles, textures and lengths, they can be classified on any of these bases. Choosing the Brazilian hair extensions which suit you is an uphill task. The primary parameters which determine which Brazilian hair extensions are best suited for your purpose are the length of use, grooming habits and budget. Based on texture, Brazilian hair extensions are composed of hair that is straight or wavy – curly Brazilian hair extensions are less common. In terms of hair color, naturally occurring Brazilian hair extensions are mostly available in shades of black or brown (with a few blondes); however, you can choose from a variety of artificial colors also, including some exotic shades. Based on length, Brazilian hair extensions may contain long or short hair. Clients who opt for Brazilian hair extensions prefer them to be long. While by definition, Brazilian hair extensions are made of human hair, some manufacturers also sell synthetic Brazilian hair extensions – these are made of artificial fibers which closely resemble Brazilian hair extensions. These are cheaper in cost, but have a much reduced lifespan compared to natural hair. Also, synthetic fibers cannot replicate the look and feel of authentic Brazilian human hair. Brazilian hair extensions made of human hair can be Remy or non-Remy, and Virgin or non-Virgin. The characteristics of these have been discussed in our earlier blogs.
